Bearcat and Carolina Duals Results

Good weekend for the Varsity Wildcats! Cody Karns and Jackson Dowless earned the title of Bearcat Invitational 2012 Champion! Additionally Cody was awarded the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament for the lower weights.

Other placers were RJ Cloninger 6th, David Carpenter 6th, Eddie McGrail 8th, Ryan Devlin 4th, Brendan Latham 6th! Patrick Devlin and Jonathan DiBernard were favored to win their weight class, but didn't get to compete the 2nd day due to illness. The team finished 4^th out of 24 teams!

The JV was in action at the Carolina Duals. They finished 3^rd out of 14 teams while giving up 18 points due to forfeits at 106/220/285. Of note the "heavy" trio of Beatty, Finn, and Ready combined for a 9-1 record and 5 pins.

The JV Cats kicked Major Gluteus Maximus at North Rowan on 12/28! That includes the first ever Lake Norman dual win against Parkland! Way to go guys. You continue to blow my hair back (as little of it there is) every week. Keep up the hard work!
